Yes I suppose no one knows what is going to happen the excess (if any) that stops going into the US. I did read in an article yesyterday that domestic plate prices in the US are already at $US900/ST ( from high $US600s/ST) which is up more than the 25% tariff in just a couple of weeks. I'm not sure the manufacturers( end users) in the US would be all that happy if all the tariff does is lift steel prices. Time will tell.

I'd also have to agree with you about Malcolm. I'm certainly on the Liberal side of the fence however I can't understand why the party would elect someone that does not appeal to such a large percentage of the population. Even with my Liberal bias, I find him so disingenuous and condescending. The only hope is the other side continue with Bill as their leader.
