Development / Formulation Chemist

Suda Pharmaceuticals Ltd is a drug delivery company focused on oro-mucosal administration. Our proprietary and patented drug delivery platform has broad potential to enhance many classes of existing drugs.
Due to expansion of the company. Suda is looking for a Formulation / Development Chemist with experience in drug solubilisation with particular reference to liquid spray formulations.
Working in a small team at our Osborne Park site, this is a fantastic opportunity to further develop your formulation skills in a challenging and rewarding environment.

Responsibilities
As the Development Chemist, you will be responsible under the direction of the Chief Technical Officer for:
· Formulating new products within the oro-mucosal area
· Ensuring formulations comply with international regulations for  pharmaceutical products
· Documenting all design and development activities as appropriate to comply with GMP practices
· Monitoring and evaluating new ingredients, packaging and technologies to ensure production of high quality products.
· Providing innovative solutions to overcome product challenges
· Working independently to maintain and improve existing products including critical property testing
· Assisting SUDA manufacturing operations by ensuring manufacturing formulations are robust and reproducible
Ideally you will possess:
·  A Bachelor of Science in Chemistry or equivalent
· Previous and relevant experience in oral solutions, or in spray or transdermal formulations in industry or academia
· Previous experience in GMP environment
· Excellent time management skills and attention to detail
