Exactly.
I've had that type of discussion many times, especially with people who say "we own the gold / coal / minerals".
Until someone stumps up the capital to dig it up & process "it" (any mineral commodity) at a profit, it's just dirt. So, let's see what Como comes up with as the new Capex. As others have said, the resource isn't going anywhere in the meantime.
I know this should be obvious but to many, it isn't.
