    So if we halved the number of shares they would be worth 7c in stread of 3.5 cents? so I would then have half as many.

    Alternativily we could do exactly the oposite and split the shares in half to give the share holders free shares, so in that case should we go from 3.5 cents per share mentioned in the above example back to 1.75 cents.

    in both cases the market cap would be exactly the same

    Somebody that were to expect me to accept such a scheme as an advantage either takes me as a fool, or must be one himself.
