Anyone following the news would have seen a number of recent stories about gene therapy companies raising millions of dollars in US capital markets. Sums raised range from tens of millions to a hundred million plus. Some of these companies don't even have a pipeline, just the promise of a technology, yet, with the right contacts, they don't seem to be having any problems raising the money.
Why is it that Benitec never seems to fall on its feet unlike so many other gene therapy and RNAi companies?
