cobalt Sulphide heptahydrate is a much more processed form of the commodity (cleansed of all imp-urities such as arsenic uranium etc) It is what battery makers want and use - either in crystal or liquid form -its helps stabilize the lithium in batteries. -it trades of 130-140,000 USD a ton normally at a 20-25% premium to cobalt but rising premium as battery demmand grows . see pics

It can (hopefully-and now apparently ) be done down the road from Opuwo mine at the walvis Bay industrial zone using acic from the nearby Dundee copper smelting plant at Tsumba (or whatever its called)-google it. Then its ready on the dock FOB. (Its kinda like taking Cocaine and making it inot crack.) The nambian Governmet wants to promote value added work in the county and gives benefical tax breaks etc..
otherwise we can just sell coblat concentrate ore (not processed at all) for much less

Or we can sell normal cobalt which is the USD 90,000 ton a stuff -which costs a bit less to process. see below but earns much less. Most companies can only do that with their lesser grade harder (more expensive) to seperate latterite or worse sulphide based cobalt ore

hope this helps. end result is cobalt sulphatre is the best to make by far- so CLAS is lucky if it can do so. and worth loads more as a company.
