Good post Kuddles. One of Australias budding weather forecasters has said that he believes Australia is in for a very cold winter this year.
Weather expert, David Taylor (Owner of Brisbane Weather & East Coast Weather) has forecast that temperatures and snowfall this winter could reach very high levels compared to previous years.
The Daily Mail made note that David Taylor uses the changes in sunspot activity, along with Global Forecast System modelling to forecast changing weather patterns. David was lauded for being the only person in Australia to correctly forecast the 600mm of rain that hit Townsville on February 28 of this year.
With many Victorian and NSW homes relying on gas for heat this could get very interesting when a few million freezing Australians begin to question why they cannot afford the fuel to heat their homes. Especially when they're sitting on ~ 11 trillion cubic feet of it.
