    Aldi would be blocked on competition concerns.

    And besides, it's completely unreasonable to talk about the aquisitions WES could make on a Coles buy out at this time. There is no indication it will occur (and if it was on the cards WES probably wouldn't have announced the intent to demerge). There was clearly misunderstanding of what WES proposed by several on this thread.
