All those sellers today must either have not read the announcement, or worse they do not understand it. With such good news I find it difficult to understand why so many are selling and the price they're selling for is now not in tune with the overall market cap of the comany ,ie the number of shares and future shares have decreased by 50%. This makes your shares actually worth double what they were the day before the announcement.
The copper price agreement being cancelled adds to AIS considerably as AIS will now reap 100% reward from increased copper price.
However some investors obviously don't understand and are quick to sell, making today the second most traded day in a year.
What is good to see is an investor who is prepared to do the deal, obviously a smart investor.
The top 20 shareholders hold 73% of AIS,with only 38 million shares for the other 3080 shareholders. I'd doubt whether any top 20 shareholder would be dumb enough to sell today.
