The video does look good but nothing that any other titanium printer could not do (and in similar time). There is not enough information in the announcement regarding speed or definition. The layer that was printed looked quite thick (layer height) which would mean low definition prints that would require more finishing. The video and the announcement really tell you nothing. As far as overcoming hurdles, yes they have produced a printer that is able to print at similar speeds to current printers from different manufacturers. As far as precision is concerned, we simply do not know how it performs compared to other printers. I am just trying to be realistic but the announcement really tells you very little in regards to how much progress they have actually made.
