I nearly choked on my beer when I read “BOD, providing there are reasonably compentent”!!! Lol
I think the key here is, this isn’t just a cook book that someone has come up with and you can replace the chef - if the key technical staff are gone - there is no company. I’m pretty sure a company the size and stature of Zeiss will be seething about what is going on at such a critical time.
Hoffman needs to be the right think and step down.
