Vaild point. The capital ratios of banks around the world has improved since 2007. Thats a great thing as its in nobodys interests to see the global banking system fall over.
In saying that, I find it difficult to swallow the narritive that because banks are being more disciplined in recent years, that we should be ok heading forward.
As Dwight D Eisenhower once said, "I find plans to be useless however I find planning to be indispensable".
No one can make plans for the unknown, not even our reformed banking system post 2007. Lets just hope that their planning proves indispensable.
