Its an ugly world when business goes to these lengths but sadly it is nothing new. Casino's have been giving people free accommodation, flights, food to those that spend a lot in their casinos. I know someone who use to get these sorts of offers sent to him and he used them. He lost tens of thousands and probably 100's of thousands in Casinos over time.
This is there business plan, bring them in because they know they will get more back and they probably have a deal with the airlines.
You have to keep in mind business other than small propriety operations are legal entities and do not have a conscience. They are simply there to make money.
Personally I just dont get pokies at all, I find the whole scene ridiculous and boring in the extreme.
Just completely mind numbingly boring and insulting to a persons intelligence.
If it was up to me Id ban them completley and online gambling or I would tax them so much they would have to stop.
