being a bit of a hobby cyclist - watso did watch the race .
from memory, the race was about 100km - and in the end, the gold medal was decided by a sprint to the finish over the last 500m (or whatever) .
good that hoskins mentioned the team effort involved - even though the gold medal was for an individual ... all members of the team can be proud of their efforts
