There is poor medication adherence globally - in Australia only 11% of asthmatics take medication as prescribed. Parents are currently frustrated by the difficulty in articulating the severity of symptoms to doctors, which can lead to incorrect prescribing and/or lack of  trust from parents that their children are being adequately treated.
Respiri’s patient data will be synchronised to cloud for review and sharing (increasingly valuable as electronic medical records are eventually introduced).
Respiri’s daytime product, not only detects and measures wheeze, but also has digital journal capabilities for other symptoms, triggers (there are at least 60), medication usage and saved sound files.
Everyone’s asthma is different in their level of symptom severity and triggers. Therefor the ability to gain insight and education into the patterns of the condition is a critical element in reducing the risk of a fatal asthma attack.
