There are some atheists that specifically state that there is no God.
From my experience when pressed most concede that there is no proof that there is no God, which given the barbs in trying to prove a negative in not surprising to me. I'm not sure about appropriate labels for atheists - other than "atheist".
That's even without specifying the nature and attributes of the God in question.
I guess that the attributes of God are for those who believe that such an entity exists. I'm not holding my breath waiting for consensus on this one.
