It is not "generous... to take the 12 month low point..." It is the logical/mathematical choice; otherwise what number? VWAP, what period then? You see the dilemma. However, in rechecking my "(incorrect) calculations," again thank you Sumg, I see that the low was $2.28 on 3 November. Therefore the gain at writing was $0.84, or dare I try, 36.8%... consider that gain as you do.
Thank you for questioning where I did my "maths." It was in a sandpit, with a stck, surrounded by a buch of guys in togas... later we all had quite the frat party!
