Hml and bhd are being used - in part - as mechanisms to help finance stuarts other business ventures by investing in them, loans etc in a private equity manner as aswe know. While it's all well and good if there's a big payoff at the end for the retail end as well who are just along for the ride. It's probably not quite what most of us signed up for. And there will be an ongoing question mark over both as long as this behaviour persists. For me the main question is, is stuart doing this because he knows these really are going to offer the best possible investment outcome for unit holders above any other current oportunities out there? Or not? Its certainly more than possible to my mind given his degree of influence in the various entities involved but there is no way to tell for certain for us little people.
