I've thought about the infrastructure to support EV's and surely there would have to be some monumental shifts.
What do the old petrol stations do? Do they become petrol AND "charging" stations? What would a consumer pay to use a charging station? How would the price be determined. Is it the electricity tariff plus a premium?
Where is all the extra electricity coming from to charge the EV's?? Do additional power stations need to be built? If so are they gas, coal, nuclear, renewable???
I believe the EV horse is bolting and I don't see a lot of thought going into what the infrastructure needs to look like.
Might be another opportunity on the horizon?
