    The smaller 5G cell sizes will permit much lower power levels at both base-station and handheld device level.

    There is what engineers and high school physics students tern an "inverse square law"
    applicable here. If present cell tower separation is say 5000feet (~1.6km), then the power level can be reduced by 20x20 = 400 times lower power.

    Also the higher frequencies of the 5G signals are more quickly dissipated by objects so overall most people will see a lot less radiated energy.
