Pays to remember the cost of 5G isn't just the EXTRA capex but much of it will be from the ongoing capex to upgrade and replace ageing assets aswell.
Good chance final pricetag on full rollout of 5G will reach $8-10b, maybe even be higher, also pays to remember this investment will largely render the NBN obsolete (cue the sycophants).
