I don't blame people for being concerned. I don't think they are all crackpots.
We have reports like this that state EMFs in the range of 30 KHz–300 GHz are possibly carcinogenic to humans. There are studies that have show mice grow tumours more rapidly with exposed to radio frequency activity.
The EUROPA EM-EMF Guideline 2016 says there is strong evidence that long-term exposure to certain EMFs is a risk factor for diseases such as certain cancers, Alzheimer's disease, and male infertility. They recommend people limit their exposure to EMFs.
There will be many people who don't want transmission sites constantly blasting 15 GHz outside their window all day and night. If you need a transmission site every 300 metres in built up areas, that feels like a significant increase in "mandatory" exposure to these frequencies.
Just another problem for the telcos.
