what have Ce &La prices been AUS

Hi Aus. Amanda’s comments at Q meeting “ new SX8 is making first in spec Ce and LA” brought up old discussions that we have had. You have long maintained Ce and La were custom and sold over market. I have said custom COULD mean lower standard and under market price. An example I gave a while ago I will redo with Q3 ‘18 numbers.
They sold 3437 tons of REE total in Q3. They made 1373 of ND Pr. If I assume that they sold all the ND Pr. Some may have carried over into Q4 but close to equal probably carried over from Q2 into Q3. 3437 - NdPr is 2063 tons Ce and La. I left SEG out. If you want to include it just tell me how much at what price and I will be glad to add it. We know AL will not sell below low teens so iany price over US $2.00 strengthens my case to add it. That and we do not know what is going on with SEG is why I left it out.

So US $40 times 1373 is $55M AU $71M
US$ 2.0 times 2063= US$ 4M AU $5M
Total = US $59M divide by todays ex rate 0.77 = AU$ 76.6M

Actual sales were AU $69.3 a discrepancy of AU$7.3M To take this out of La and Ce would lower La and CE to a negative number. What do you think correct $ amount is for each? This is not a negative on Lynas just an attemp old inacurate info. Lynas is doing great and I do not see any strong sell signals. I wish I had bought more but happy I bought what I did.

What we need is balanced views not just positive and biased info. Why don’t you go back to your unnamed sources that told you that La and Ce contracts that resulted in above market prices for these products and find out their predictions for the future.

Assuming I was correct in the past the new SX8 line will add to the bottom line in a major way. Of course if you were correct and they were already receiving above market what does it add? Why would they make it one of the first things they did in NEXT.

As a stock holder I was presently surprised the Delta, 7.3M, as a percent of sales has come down this means they are getting closer to market price. Another + signal.
