Canopy isn't necessarily entitled to any profits, unless Auscann decides to distribute profits. And generating revenue doesn't mean profits either unless the revenue is covering costs. They could in fact just decide to reinvest into the business and not pay a dividend to any shareholders at all, until some time (hopefully) in the future when they do make a profit.
