Fair call and I was imprecise. I actually haven't owned BOT (or EVE, if that can be considered a pot stock) to be totally accurate.
Suffice it to say that none have turned a profit from their investment in MM - not even close - and none are operating as they intend to. MDC's revenues come from non pot business and BOT's "$1.8m" is a $1.6m R&D grant plus only $145k of business income, so not a whole lot. THC and RGI could be said to have generated income from others' pot ventures but still largely or wholly from non pot growers. THC has enormous potential as a main player but has been bruised by internal problems which could damage confidence in a fledgling company even if they manage to push through it all (which I think they will and still hold).
My point is that the industry is transforming from caterpillar to butterfly and there's not much to see or judge by at this point. To me, the best way to judge is by comparison as it's pretty much a given that some will succeed and others will fail. All we can do is reckon which are which.
