Hi slick just getting around to answering your questions. I married a Kenyan ladie in 2009 & ever since have been spending around 8 months here & 4 in Perth each year. We live on a small 5 acre Hobby Farm about 6 hour drive from Nairobi, 4 hour drive from Kampala, Uganda. And yes we do live in The Great Rift Valley, Kiminini is 1800 meters above sea level. I have only ever seen a handfull of runners training around this area, but around 200ks from here on the way to Nairobi, you can go to a place called Iten "High Altitude" & that is where most of the Kenyan runner & for that matter runners from all around the World come & set up camp for there Training. I have been there a few times now & always see the Athletes running along the main road. Mike
