More indications that Luke Miels at GSK is looking for deals in Immuno Oncology:

"Still, Miels said he had the resources needed to build up the business in new focus areas like oncology and immunology, including potential funding for add-on biotech deals."​

This is in the context of GSK looking for budget savings of 20%.  They may be cutting back on spending overall, but immuno-oncology is targeted for growth.  

The article is a bit of a follow on from an earlier  Reuters piece back in December which I think was covered on Hot Copper at the time but is worth a repeat:

"GlaxoSmithKline will scout for deal opportunities in cancer medicine, as well as immunology, as the drugmaker seeks to rebuild its presence in oncology, its new head of pharmaceuticals told Reuters.  In his first public comments since joining GSK in September, Luke Miels said the focus would be mainly on buying or licensing early-stage drugs. https://www.reuters.com/article/us-...-cancer-deals-to-boost-pipeline-idUSKBN1E50WD​

I'm not saying a deal will come at Phase 1b, (though it could), and I'm not saying that a deal will come from GSK, (though they will definitely be watching Imugene), but I do believe a deal will come, and we are unlikely to have any warning before the TH announcement comes out.  Imugene has not been a leaky ship in the past.  

Yep - it might be a year from now or even longer.  Then again, it could happen on Monday, lol.  

So my core holding is a definite Hold, and I will probably use my trading $ on something more volatile.
