No I never said anything was silly but I may as well now. You are being silly. What I was replying to is your statement "Becomes a pointless profit really."
Even if they were on the highest tax rate and had to pay out 49 cents plus in the dollar they still walk away with cash in their pocket. Hardly pointless, especially given the very minimal work involved in achieving it.
