My point was he is not "investing" in the company if he is buying and selling on a daily basis, that's called trading. That style of making a buck is more based on technicals and chart patterns and not the fundamentals of the business. If he believed in the company, it's management and growth prospects, he would not be selling the stock within a week.
Are you saying the 50% discount in CGT is silly? What if I said to you here's $100 and you only need to pay $25 to someone else as your CGT is now lower..... ?
