Got to disagree with this misty.
Senate is the states house (currently not working that way, unconstitutional!).
Our forefathers had no choice to form the States House (Senate) or the Australian Government formation would not of proceded.
Australian Government proposed/formed by agreement of the States.
Senate is supposed to be states house, two major parties have corrupted the States House.
