    "Venezuela is de-dollarizing"

    I think that it is safe to say that Venezuela is already "de-dollarized", in that it doesn't have any US dollars to pay for imports. That is why they are selling their gold.

    I think that Urdogan is headed for a similar sad lesson. When it comes to economic confidence, hoarded gold is no substitute for the rule of law...
