Some may remember AVC American Vanadium Corp. They vanished as a primary vanadium prospector/miner first half 2016. Still exsist in the energy sector but not as a producer. Previously they had the lease on the "Gibellini project" and a MOU with Gildemeister DMG MORI Energy subsidery to vertically intergrate the mining of Vanadium from Gibellini, supply Gildemeister and market and supply their VRF CellCube Energy Storage systems throughout North America.

Sound familiar? Yes well be for their demise they buddies up with Yellow Rock in Australia who promptly changed their name to Australian Vanadium Limited "AVL" and altered their Company insignia, Web site and marketing to emulate their North American buddies.

The problem for AVC was (as with others before them) the Gibillini Resource was not huge in resource or grade and the best all cost for Vanadium production they could get to was c $10.00/lb. Competely uneconomic then and I'll speculate without some significant changes in their mining and refinery process only marginal in today's market. Hence no DFS,no financiers, no mine, no go.

I see I the article Prophesy are going through the mine permit process, and intend updating the "feasibility study". No other details.

By contrast TNG 2 years on (from 2016) has jumped most of the hurdles and is closing down on finance with an All in V cost at $2.50/lb. It may have been a long wait but at least TNG survived and more is approaching finance while all these others have rotated in the wilderness.

Next week holders that's my pick for some more news.

Awesome research as always Maxter and right on the money, anyone that has done a hint of research will know the only serious Vanadium play on the ASX is TNG. Now how long before the heard catches up......?
