Notwithstanding that we don't currently have binding agreements (although they appear imminent), the SP is simply not on par with the fundamentals of this company. Sure there is risk here but a robust DFS and the acknowledged vanadium deposit dictates that the SP should be substantially higher. Especially based upon the article that you have quoted. The question is why. Is there a fear factor associated with the fact that we came out of VA and does that affect the decisions of fundies (& other potential investors)? I'd hazard a guess that there is some substance to that school of thought. Equally, is there manipulation of the SP? It's often raised by investors and probably all too frequently in my humble opinion. That doesn't mean it isn't happening here. Somers or traders with decent money in the game can treat the SP as their plaything to support whatever agenda they may have. That's the nature of the share market and it ain't going to change any time soon. There are of course numerous other potential reasons why the SP is languishing in this area but I'll leave it to others to speculate on that.

In short, and as I have lamented on several occasions, a SP of around 8c based on the issues raised above does not make a lot of sense to me. Some may remember the games some of the Chinese companies played during VA (incl threats of legal action etc). That type of behaviour (although a commercial reality of doing business) never augurs well with me and can assist in giving some insight into how they might think/operate. Unfortunately, people will engage in a lot of unscrupulous behaviour to make money and they don't give a toss about mum and dad investors,even moreso in the speculative end of the market.

At the end of the day, a lot of people have put their trust in the CEO and Board. Let's hope they aren't puppets and are genuinely interested in building shareholder wealth.
