Well, quite. Unfortunately, we get rather too much incontinent upramping here, which can only serve to pull in more idiots chasing the next flyer and ready to jam the exits at the first sniff of trouble. They do us no good at all - only encourage the attentions of sharks like ibs88.s and bruutz, who recognise easy meat when they see it, and end up stampeding the slightly less clueless.
What I am saying is that encouraging poor-quality new investors through wildly optimistic projections and highlighting 'strong buy' recommendations on technical sites is counter-productive. Fast money going round in circles gets us nowhere. It keeps our register loose, weak and way too prone to bear raids - something we need to get away from if the sp is going to make sustained progress to a reasonable valuation.
