If they are only doing phase 1 trials then they wont be registering the product. Phase 1 trials involve less than 10 people and are done purely to figure out its safety, pharmalogical activity, administration methods and dose amounts to use in future studies. I do recall hearing him say something about only doing phase 1, which makes me think they may be getting someone else to take the product to phase 2 and 3 trials or they aren't planning on registering the product. Time will tell i guess
