I wasn’t feeling very confident about the Titans winning this one. The Raiders have had it over them for the last few years.

Coupled with that, is the rebuild the Titans have gone through over the offseason, had them with a very different lineup.

It didn’t start well either, letting in three soft tries in the first twelve minutes.

Then things started to change, the Titans got more possession, the defence tightened up and Ash Taylor got the backs moving.

I think Taylor had a hand in nearly every one of the Titans five tries.

Tipped by many to come last this year, I think they could surprise a few.

All of the new players played well, especially Jai Arrow. When Jarryd Wallace finishes his suspension, he and Arrow will form the backbone of a very strong pack.

I am a little uncertain about Bryce Cartwright. He did some good things but let himself down with a couple of flick passes that went wrong. The coach got him over from Penrith for his flare, it will be up to him to make sure he doesn’t overdo it.
