Dropbox was one of the more notable companies to suffer during this disruption and as a result of the outage they opted to implement their own storage solution hosted across different data centers.

Other options include but are not limited to:
- Google Storage
- Microsoft Azure
- Rackspace

If a custom solution was designed and developed any data center would work e.g. NextDC (Australia only).
