Sure, I've heard of bromine and iodised salt. But one is a gas and one is a solid? I'm pretty sure when the labs test brines they exist in solution, and that's what I'm talking about. These elements exist as free ions, and are not bonded to each other. This is why we haven't heard about the other elements. I'm trying not to argue with you here, I'm sure you aren't doing this maliciously, but please, if you want to speak chemistry then make sure you know what you're talking about first.
