No doubt about the size of the market, but we (investors and company) need to be realistic about how much Alcidion can actually penetrate the US market.

Unless we meaningfully penetrate the Aust/NZ and established a solid foothold with strong recurring cashflow, I would hold off overseas expansion due to the complexity and how costly it would be. One fatal mistake can doom the company. Overseas expansion should ideally be funded out of operating cash flow as to minimise risk exposure. Sure, debt and capital raising can also be explored.

Also, Alcidion has not, to the best of my knowledge, outlined any strategies for overseas expansion other than the reference to mergers and acquisitions.

In the scheme of things, Alcidion is still small cap company in the Aust/NZ market. If we are still encountering some difficulties in opening doors, breaking down barriers and challenging norms, imagine the difficulties in a totally new international market with new business practices and etc.

More importantly, I do not think the board and management currently have the skills set to successfully execute an overseas expansion. A whole different skills set is required, someone who has done it before and who has the international credibility to open doors and etc.

Just my personal opinion, happy for anyone to share their views on this (whether contrary or not).
