Khawaja might survive by default because Smith gets a holiday. I reckon he would've been replaced by Handscomb
for the next Test if ballgate hadn't happened. The Saffers bowling attack has been superb no doubt and has made our batting
crumble at times. Good to see Renshaw get another gig. They'll miss the counter attacking punch of Warner and Smith will obviously leave a massive hole if he gets a year in the sin bin. Who else gets what remains to be seen. It's going to create some opportunities
for fringe players or younger ones. Maybe Darcy Short will get a look in as a like for like replacement for Warner. He probably still needs some grooming in the long game but he looks to have a great eye and good balance. If Boof goes it'd be great to see Ponting get the job. He has a great record in identifying talent and getting the best out of it. Langer would bring a lot also.
