There appears to be little doubt that Australian cricketers engage in ball tampering.
What they have engaged in mainly is lying. That is the worst part. The fact that they are such rotten humans that they lie, and lie, and lie. Warner made extraordinary comments about ball tampering....how bad it was and how they would never do it. But maybe that was 'The Reverend' talking, and maybe 'Bull' has a different view.
These guys are pathological liars, split personalities, Smith has no concept at all of what integrity is. I would say Bancroft was a designated tamperer for the team since shortly after his arrival , and Warner another one with his suspicious finger taping. This was something systematic within the team, done with Lehmann's full knowledge, and the only people I can see calling this 'tape with pitch granules' are the media & some Aussie fans. This was sandpaper IMO.
Why the ICC tolerate bald-faced lies being told to their umpires on the field, and then to all of us off the field....I guess they are as embarrassed about this as anyone & are engaging in a cover-up. It's not as much the offence as it is the lies and a coach and team colluding to deceive the on-field umpires and then spout a pack of lies later on.
As usual, the ICC are spineless, gutless, toothless. They don't know how to deal with one of the 'big 3' bull-sh*tting them in such an organised way, so they have slapped down a wet bus ticket then run for the hills.
No one outside of some Aussie fans would believe a single word out of Smiths mouth.....and has Lehmann gone into hiding? Is he hunkered down in a closet somewhere waiting for this to die down? Not a single word out of the bloke, not a peep. Except on his walkie talkie.
