Smith has to take the fall as he is Captain. He would have had the final say on whether or not to go ahead with the little scheme. imo His only input should have been NO.

imo I think the pressure has got to him over the last few months and he is not handling it.

Australia has had many past Cricket Captains but if they were Captains in this day and age they would surely not be as stupid as Smith is, considering all the focus and cameras on the players.

Another thing is how did Bancroft become the patsy. The "Leadership" group need to be called out over this.

It was gutless on their part to put Bancroft in this position. Its peer pressure. imo

Lets see how C.A. do handle this........
