In my opinion one problem with ball tampering is that they allow some ball tampering (spitting and putting sweat on the ball) but not others. In my opinion it is time to ban all ball tampering including spit and sweat being added to a ball. Baseball banned the 'spit ball' in 1920, why doesn't cricket ?
