Lehmann's position is untenable because - if Smith is telling the truth - the captain and leadership group didn't even respect him enough to let him know what they were up to.
He's a guy with so much integrity that he labelled Broad not walking as "blatant cheating".....he must have been shocked and appalled at what the team have done, and stunned that they did this without his knowledge. Had they let him know, he could have talked them out of it - stomped it out hard. He must feel so betrayed.
Why would he want to stick around? They've kept him in the dark, like a mug. Treated him like sh*t really. He's found out he's not part of the inner circle. So why would he want to remain as coach?
