Hi IMU spectators & investors .



Just received this direct from IMU - if you weren't already aware .... they put out the odd news letter and update , which can be subscribed to on their website .

With all the recent speculation about the Vienna meeting etc - I think its important to understand that the company carries out its business as one would expect a company to do in its field . Their work is watched and understood by their peers globally ( as what happens in the scientific community )  The key IMU people are all extremely well respected in their various academic fields , and naturally they would be presenting / reporting / communicating at the normal research based venues of relevance .  There is probably nothing new in what they presented at this recent symposium.  Nor is the information market sensitive ( as I think most of it is already in the public domain ) Needless to say their work would be very much under the spotlight amongst their peers in the field .

As regards deals etc ....... no doubt they will come .  When they come .

We are pleased to report that some of our important early stage research was presented at a prestigious symposium in Canada today.
Dr Joshua Tobias from the research team led by our own CSO Professor Dr. Ursula Wiedermann presented the following poster at the Keystone Symposia Cancer Immunotherapy Combinations Symposium March 23-27 2018 in Montreal, Québec, Canada.
Construction of a novel anti-Her-2/neu multi-level vaccine combining Trastuzumab and Pertuzumab binding site mimotopes together with anti-PD1 immune checkpoint inhibitor.

The research is protected by the patent PCT/AU2016/050275, ‘A vaccine composition and uses thereof’. The patent is granted in Australia and pending in other countries.  The patent protects our valuable HER-Vaxx cancer vaccine out to 2036.  Importantly it captures the combination of HER-Vaxx with checkpoint inhibitors, an important immuno-oncology drug class generating multi-billion dollar returns for companies such as Merck, BMS and Genentech.
