He seriously uses an example of a it taking a month's wages in 1971 to by a colour TV whereas now it only takes two days wages. OK genius, in 1971 an average man on an average wage could pay off a house, raise a family AND pay the bills all on that one wage. Can he do it today? No. Why not? According to you he is richer.
This is nothing more than propaganda. Furthermore, most intelligent people wouldn't have a problem with capitalism if we had it; but we have crony capitalism instead.
