They r still waiting on the Regulator's clearance/approval for the Keraudren 3D seismic. Will know around 15th Feb if all is ok.

Not sure if they selected a contractor yet (Polarcus, CGG or someone else). After which they'll deploy a vessel for the survey which will take a couple of months. And then there's a whole lot of data processing to do b4 the finished package is delivered to Quadrant (STO now). CVN didnt mention this in their Dec qtrly, should b there in the next one i hope. Do checkout the maps posted by ftroop on the 11-12th Dec.  

As for the degree of info its a 3yr course at Uni, but in a nutshell they've drilled & found HC's in 6 wells so far in the Bedout. other then the 2 BP wells for now. So each well sort of derisks the prospects & challenges the past 3D seis interpretation. They should also have shot VSP in the wellbore which again fine tunes the zone of interest. The end game going fwd is to focus on narrowing down this area, identify more leads, map the horizons across the larger prospects & get them drill ready in due course by revising the prospective resource size & CoS. Again this isn't 100% guaranteeing success, ie HC's will b found. That's only possible when the drillbit hits the zone/s of interest, but they should b able to use the local markers & DHI's to gain a CoS for the lead. Sorry I've tried to keep it very simple, more like a 2min elevator pitch so I hope this helps. 

Next event is STO FY18 results on 21st Feb, should have more on 2019 drilling program, capex etc.
