So far the trade spat is threats and angry words.
Australia is a close ally of the US and will side with it in any conflict - trade or otherwise (I do not describe personal views, I seek to point to the facts). I would heavily discount any perceived advantage to Australian almond growers in a US-China trade war.
Shareholders and SHV would do better to focus on what is in the business's control.
