The news comes from a scientific research paper published in a research journal, which is a good journal. The deposit was initially found in 2013 and it is in the deep seabed. Therefore, huge cost to mine it. There is none such mine ever developed on earth. Clearly, all the news outlets have reported it without really understanding it, typical job for many journalists.
