Have I missed something? Where did the sandpaper come from? Cricketers surely don't keep sandpaper in their cricket gear? Was the sandpaper brought over from Australia or somehow acquired in South Africa? Who brought/acquired it and who had it in his possession? Why did he have it in his possession? In my opinion the more prior possession of sandpaper suggests intent to tamper long before the tampering occurred? We need a hard-nosed lawyer to ferret out the truth.
